We at Favis of Salcombe have been going to sea to bring back the finest, freshest crab and lobster since 1972 when Grandad Keith Favis (his nickname’s ‘The Don’) swapped trucking for crabbing and began our great family adventure.
Now three generations of Favis are working at the firm, dedicated to providing you with the very best, award-winning, hand-picked crab, bringing it from pot to plate in record time.
We are passionate about what we do, about the quality, about the sourcing, about the cooking, about the hand-picking … about everything in fact!
We export all around the world, but we supply all over the UK too – to quite a few famous restaurants, chefs and faces, and to homes and shops from Salcombe to Shetland.
Your enjoyment of nature’s finest superfood is of supreme importance to us – so we’ve even rustled up a few yummy recipes you can try at home too.
